I have 3 red-eared slider turtles. 2 of them started doing the mating dance. My aquarium is 20 gallons and i have small aquarium rocks in it with a heating lamp. Is the female able to lay her eggs in the aquarium rocks? There is a spot where there is no water so they can dry off.

sorry for the late reply but welcome to the board..i just saw this

anyways, 3 grown-up turtles in a 20-gallon is too tight for them. the female should be able to dig to lay her eggs or she'll keep them in and serious problems will arise. she needs something like soil and u'll have to provide that. the best thing to do is put her in a separate aquarium with some soil to dig in (tha's if there were any eggs..)
