| My RES and my ACF got along until I did a water change. Now I had to move my tormented hurt frog into a quarrantine tank until I can buy him another 10g. I was wondering though, if I could add some platies or guppies to my turtle tank? My RES only picked on my frog because he would float at the top of the water to get air but fish can swim faster than he can.. |

although many ppl say frogs shouldn't be kept with turtles cz they're toxic to them but others say the reason is that turtles eat frogs. a turtle will try to eat anything smaller than its size so even fish might turn into food sooner or later _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo

Guppies are a prefered food for juvies and adults. They are fast and provide your turtle with a challenge and give them exercise. Sometimes the fish wil be fine for a week or so and you will think all is well and then one day they will be gone.
My suggestion is to never put anything in the tank with your turtle that you don't want eaten. |

no fish has lasted more than 5 mins in my tank! turtles love them though, and snails too, and the shrimp make a nice dessert too! |
