ok last night i was watching a movie with my family and i looked over at my turtle and he had his front arms/legs turned so that his 'palms' were facing out and they were shaking like crazy and his back legs were kicking like normal swimming and he moved a little forward but then moved back again and he kept doing this for several minutes... my dad looked over to see what i was staring at and he was like was is that turtle doing??? i was like i dont know but hes freaking me out... after a few minutes he stopped and we went back to the movie... about 5/10 minutes later he did it again.... my mom walked over and picked him up and i couldnt really tell but it looked like he sneezed... he also snaps kinda when he spazzes... anyone know what this is??? im scared for him... Crying or Very sad

Your turtle is doing the mating dance. There is nothing wrong with him.

Please make sure that everyone washes after handling your turtle. Salmonella is a very serious disease and very easily contracted. There was a member here on this forum whose father was hospitalised from it.

thank you sooooo much, i was freaking out soooo bad that he was sick or having a seizure or something....... i know about samonella, but thanks for the reminder that it is a serious problem!
