| i have a yellow bellied turtle i've had him for a couple of months now, recently i have noticed two red/brownish spots appear on his shell..... i'm worried, what could this be |

| Is there anyway you can get a picture posted for us and maybe a little better description? It sounds like it could be a fungus but also some turtles as they age, their shells change color. I would hate to have you treat it for something if it is a natural change. So is it soft in the area, what size are these spots, also is there anything in the tank like rough rocks that your turtle could have scraped his shell on? |
