ok baby turtles in general are carnivorous which means they eat meat and living food more than plants, fruits, and veggies. the difficult thing here is that those meats contain so much protein that it's not good for the turtle and u can over-feed it easily. that's why the best thing to do is feed them the special pellets. they contain everything a turtle needs. still, they can cause obesity if u over-feed them. for baby turtles, add some fish, cooked chicken/turkey/meat...but give it ONLY as treats.
to be on the safe side, keep checking ur turtle to make sure it doesn't get over-weight. in case u don't know how to do it, flip the turtles and look at its feet holes. if u see flesh coming out always (not only when it breathes) this means ur turtles need to be put on a diet.
sometimes u'll need to force it to eat veggies and greens. don't offer any other food and keep the floating leaves in the tank so the turtle is forced to eat them when it starves. don't worry they don't starve themselves to death _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
