Hey, I came across your site cause my RES wasn't eating and the reptile store I got him from was no help. Thanks to you guys he's eating again, well, tuna and chicken anyways, he won't eat lettuce or his pellets though. I'm going to try melon tomorrow.

He's actually my sons. I got Buddy for him for his 6th birthday back in May so I'm guessing the turtle is about 7 or 8 months old. He was really small when we got him and he's quadrupled his weight and size already.

I LOVE the basking pose. I think that is soooo cute when their legs are all kicked back.

Anyway welcome and glad to have you here.

FYI, go easy on the fruits. Use it more as a treat type thing. Mine go more for carrot peels than the romaine, but you have to watch as each one likes different things.
