Hi
I have 2 red ear turtle, both of them are about 2.5 inches in diameter, i think they are about 3years old. I put them in house, at night, when I put our house light off (with their warm light on only), I found it very often for one turtle ( I think it is a boy) will go facing the other one and extend his front hands straight to the other and showing some vibrating actions. Do you know what are they doing?

welcome to the board
aww that's sweet it's the "turtle dance". it's said to be a mating ritual where the male tries to flatter the female b4 they mate. but it's not always the case bcz many turtles from the same gender do it to each other too so..
but u know what,,he's cute cz he does it when it goes all romantic around _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
