| i got bitten by my 4 yr old red eared slider turtle an hour ago & my finger was bleeding for quite a while. it's still painful up to now. but ive put band aid on it & i dont knw if itz still bleeding. pls help. i think turtles dont have rabies right but what abt salmonella, parasites, etc? pls reply asap anyone. d doctor here also doesnt know what to do. |

If doctors didn't tell you much, maybe you shouldn't worry about it and You're right Turtles don't have rabies but If I were you I'd still keep an eye on it. You should probably disinfect it with alcohol or even take some antibiotics or something just to help protect yourself from the salmanella.
