I am sorry about your turtle
If your turtle is about 4 inches like mine are, and the tank is not big enough, there could be problems with territory, but it also depends on the turtle, he may not care if there is someone else in the tank, only time will tell. _________________

| i have had two baby RES in the tank with them before.. before the female died.. and they seemed to be fine...and now i just put the same two baby RES i have given to my cousins back in that tank.. now they seem fine...the big male i have seemed to be acting weird...he has his arms sorta parellel to each other and waves it really fast.. he use to do that with the female and she use to do like the same... i think its a mating thing but again i dunno |

it is considered to be a mating ritual. i also read that they do it more in spring and summer. i wonder when will my turtles' summer begin _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
