Ok, I know this has been asked thousands of times... But what kind of lights does everyone use? I've been using the Repti Glo 8.0 Desert Terrarium Lamp because of the high UVA/UVB output, and then just a regular light bulb for heat. Is that ok? Does anyone reccomend using like the Heat Glo, or Sun Glo Tight beam basking spot lamp, or the Sun Glo Neodymium basking spot lamp? Has anyone ever used the Night Glo lamps? Sorry for the long post, but I got this informational brochure thingy about the different lamps by Exo Terra and was just wondering what everyone thought. I'm going to buy new lamps sometime this week, so I was just wondering. Thanks!

1- Repti Sun 5.0 UVB 310 36" 30W Fluor Bulb(Zoo-Med)
1- Exo-Terra Day-Glo Showcase A21 Bulb-100W(Hagen)
1- Exo-Terra Night-Glo Moonlight Bulb - 75W(Hagen)
and then one standard 100 wt bulb for addition heat & light.
But I seem to have problems with the moonlight bulbs, they last about a month, and they are pricey to be tossing out so frequently. SO for the summer I have not used any. |
