Poor guy, I have seen you post so many messages to figure out what your snapping turtle is. Has anyone responded? I wish I could help but I don\'t know much about snapping turtles. I would think that all turtles are similar in determining the sex, but I honestly don\'t know. Sorry:(

Good Luck with your questions:)

To be honest it would be hard to tell you what gender it is unless you could post a picture of your turtle. In your case snappers and aligator snappers are hard to determine because their tails are so long compared to other turtle species. But if you could possibly post a picture that could help us out.

Sorry, I don\'t know how to do that, but I do know that it, (It\'s sitting by the computer by me now! LOL!) hasno noticbly long claws, it\'s vent is about half a centimeater awayfrom the base of the tail. It\'s tummie is kind of bumped out. Hope this can help!
