I have two Cooters and two eastern painted turtles which are not even a year old. I\'ve seen pictures of turtles mating and their little mating dance/rictuals and the two males keep doing this over the females heads. Should I be worried about moveing the two couples to another take so they can have their privacy or are they just abunch of horny kids? Thanks _________________ I now work at Petco so if you have serious question I can ask our vet every Friday. I\'ve read that turtles usally mature at 5-7 years, but that in captivity they mature faster at about 2-3 years. I\'m not sure if how acurate that is but I just thought I\'d share it with you. Less than a year seems awefull young for them to have matured though. ??? _________________ Proud owner of 2 RES--George and Ringo |
