Can I put an algae eater in with my 2 baby turtles? Will they bother the fish? |

Anything you put in the tank will eventually become food for the turtles, maybe if you put a bigger one than the turtles, it might make it for a bit longer than the smaller algae eaters.
Good luck _________________

| My turtle is the shark of the tank. I watched him and the lions of the tank, meaning my frogs completely eat a goldfish, I mean they would grab it and run from each other but the turtle ended up getting the most and he eat it ALL in less than 30 minutes. |

i have 2 baby cooters, and the tank was getting a little messy so i added one of the algae eaters in it, but the stupid thing only sleeps...my turtles never even see the thing...he hides 24/7, but maybe once the turltes grow, the poor fish might have a bad life, but for now its fine |

Plecos are nocturnal, I bet he comes out when you all are sleeping!
I have one in my 40-gallon tank, where my 7-inch RES had lived. She has moved to a bigger tank, and the 40 is now home to a 5-inch and a smaller RES. I recently noticed that the pleco -- Snuggy is his name, and he's about 4-5 inches long -- has a missing fin. I'll bet it was my big girl before she moved.
I don't want anything to happen to him, so if Snuggy gets further abuse, I may just have to take him out (then what do I do for the algae??) and set up another tank...over my husband's dead body, though! |

| I just got a small algae eater too, although I'm afraid to add it to the tank. I've got him in another container for now, but eventually I'm gonna test the waters. |
