| Just the other day I was in the room were my turtle is and I heard a noise. Then I realized that it was coming from my turtle. No one I know has heard their turtle make noise. It sort of sounds like he is calling out or crying, and it is not all the time. Is this normal? Should he see a vet? He is a Red Eared Slider. |

If you see no other symptoms like yawning while stretching his neck, swimming lobsided (listing), I wouldn't worry about it, turtles do make noises, it kinda sounds like a kitten meowing with a sore throat. _________________
