the other day i was reading about rocks and turtle setups and i found an article saying that you shouldnt use natural rocks in a tank because they hlod microorganisms that cause algae to grow easier and cant be controlled. Which means you can bleach the rocks and kill the algae but it will grow back and keep growing. Stupid algae |

I have natural rocks in my tank and they dont have algae on them, but the bottom of the ramp is turning green with algae.
I have been leaving it alone hoping the the feeder fish would eat it and keep it down but I think they wont get that close to it becase of the turtles.
I havnt had any problems with it in the past and I hope I wont have it any time soon. |
