| I have had my 3 turtles for almost 4 years now. They are all the same age and have been living in the same tank with no problems their entire life. About 2 weeks ago, my 1 turtle began biting another one. It only goes after this specific one and it always bites in the same place (the soft tissue under the front leg). I took the aggressive turtle out and let the hurt one heal. 2 weeks later I placed the aggressive turtle back in the tank and it went after the same recently healed turtle within 1 hour. Does anyone have any ideas on why this turtle has become so aggressive and what I can do to fix the problem? |

maybe ur turtle is trying to mate..if u have had them for 4 years now, there's a big possibility that they are sexually mature (at least the "aggressive" one)..do u know their genders? make sure of them cz it might be that the guy is trying to mate with the female..the third one?? hmm i don't know did u notice any wierd movements b4 that aggressive action started? something like waving hands in front of each other?? _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
