they might be shedding scutes which is a good sign of growing..is there anything wrong with them like not eating or something? if everything's fine then it's probably only the scutes are shedding Smile

ohhhh okay well since i have too the bigger one eats fine and is agressive. but the smaller one doesnt eat, but i gave him fighter fish and he ate it so thats not a problem no more its just their shells, i think its the light... it might be to strong... there babies(well their just small) well it might be shedding ... i was also wondering how can u tell how old they are and what sex?

i don't think that light would ever be a problem bcz they can always move from under it if it gets too hot (unless it's hot everywhere then that would be a problem and u better check the temps before they get fried)

for their age..there's no exact way..u can almost never tell how old are they except if u know when they were born Sad

for the gender, it's difficult to tell when they are still babies but as they get older, males will have longer nails and longer thinner tails than females

another way to tell their sex is that males bottom shells are concave (curve in slightly like the bottom of a soda can) and females arent
