We have a pond with small fish, vegetation, etc. our turtle will struggle out and go to our swimming pool. He returns there no matter how many times we put him back in the pond. How do we feed him in pool or
pond. Chicken, tuna, etc does not float. He ate all the small fish in the upper pond but there is no food source in the swimming pool. HELP! |

Maybe he's trying to tell you that the pond needs cleaning
Sorry, I couldn't think of anything that would help other than enclosing the pond. _________________

is there an adequate basking area in the pond? maybe you should put rocks around it, sort of like a gate, but high enough where he can't climb it and make sure he can't hurt himself. it'll also add to the decour of the pond.
that's if you want to keep him in there.
maybe to feed him, take him out of the pond, and put him somewhere you can keep an eye on him for about 30 and let him eat, then put him back. _________________
