My male painted turtle is flirting with his reflection in his 55 gal aquarium. I'm feeling sorry for him. He's only about 3", but I guess he's maturing. Is there anything to be done? Will he give up eventually? Any Ideas? Thanks!  |

Bets,
This sounds crazy but both of my baby RES did that they just look at them selves all day. My other half got mad that they wouldn't swim around and put a mirrow in front of them so they could see the real thing.
Something just looks hella intersesting out that way I bet but ASK a TURTLE what...lol

it's ok cz he'll do it to anything if not his reflection..some turtles do it to rocks or other things in their setups..u know now that ur turtle has no insecurities
