around 3 weeks ago i made my turts a new basking spot(one with the rubbermaid connected to a ramp), before that they had two medium zoomeds but they outgrew them and sometimes couldnt get completely dry(it would just sink)
anyway spot is basking for 5-6 hours a day, he's active, eats normally but is it normal for a turt to bask that long could he have fungus
Sorry for long post |

if he's eating and swimming then it's ok..check that quote about RES's from austinsturtlepage.com : "These are extremely aggressive baskers, so a basking spot is required"
