All Turtles Message Board

I went to Petco today and bought my turtle some red minnows. As soon as I dropped them into the tank my turtle took off chasing them everywhere. I came back in after about 30mins and I couldnt find them anywhere. Is it ok for me to just buy some and leave them in the tank, or will she over eat? also,

I have read in a lot of places about a vitamin powder that I should be adding to her diet twice a week, I looked around Petco for something like this and couldnt find any. Can anyone tell me the name of a product so that next time I can just ask if they have any in?

watch out b4 she gets overweight and u'll have to put her on a diet..and believe me, diets are no fun for turtles and for us too! they break ur heart when they keep begging..

vitamins and calciums are additions only..if ur turtle doesn't have any problems then it's getting all that it needs from the pellets..if u are feeding it pellets then it's supposed to get whatever it needs
