Okay, so my ornate wood turtle layed an egg. She is by herself, so I\'m pretty sure it\'s not going to hatch. I\'ve had her for about 2 weeks now. Is it possible it could have been fertilized before I got her? Or do they lay eggs soon after sex? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if it is possible that the egg is fertile, what should I do? |

Yeah it\'s my new lil turtle
She has it kinda half burried. Her substrate is a soft soil with some bark and moss mixed in. I\'m not sure what to do @_@ |

go to the following page for information about what to do if you want to breed your turtle, which in your case you really didn\'t have a choice:D :
