My red-eared slider (male with long claws) started to tickle my other turtle (yellow-bellied slider) on the face, and this is a sign of courtship. Help! Is it possible to reproduce between their species.

(I have a trauma now. The male RES is only 4 inches log and the yellow-bellied a litte smaller.It was very creepy. And they wrere my little innocent babies!)

seems ur babies have grown up now:) 4\" can meet and reproduce..ok now they\'ll get u new babies..a RES and a YBS are very similar and mating could happen between them..but why did u freak out? it\'s cool to have babies..ok too much caring at the beginning but great results at the end

No...sorry...he is only about three inches, but he still actually does the mating dance thing. Would you say this is \"practice?\"

well, frogs mating could last three hours or up to three days so its not like I was staring at them from the time they started to the time they seperated.

hey thanx stray this is amazing how the male is much smaller than the female..i know this is the same case with turtles but i just can\'t imagine it..they don\'t look that dirty..i mean kids can watch Razz
