Is anyone selling baby turtles, specifically painted turtles??? Please let me know if anyone is selling for good prices.

i think best money would be catching one for free.the other prices i\'ve seen are $25 for a full grown.pet stores usually sell RES

i bought lolo my new babyres for 13$ at a pet store they had a 30 gallon tank w/ bout 50 turtles mudturtles RES spineysoftshells and others all for 13 $

I bought my turtles for 9.95 but I dont think I would buy any more because I am soon expecting eggs.But right now I have 4.

There are reptile rescue and turtle rescue websites on the internet. It may take some searching to find the right site for where you live, but considering there are so many unwanted turtles out there...
I bought my turtle at a pet store, but after all the info I have now, I don\'t think I would support their abuse in the pet trade any more as pet stores don\'t give out good info. At least I would get it from a breeder who knows how to properly care for RES and looks out for their best interest.

its illegal to sell any turtle under four inches, but not to buy.turtles can have salmonella, no matter what the site says. they also sell \"death bowls\" whitch are the lagoones they say. if you buy a turtle, your in for a commintment. they can live over 30 years and get pretty big. you need 10g of tank per inch of their length. and females get 13 inches long. please read links above on the top of this page to provide proper care for your turtle. and about the salmonella, wash your hands with as hot of water as you can stand and soap for 2 minutes. i cant stop you from supporting the illegal operations of selling babie turtles, but please, take good care of them.
