im just wondering. did anyone get bit bu their turtle ever?
what happened?
my brother found a snapping turtle and was holding it really close to his face when it bit him and my mom had to pry its mouth open w/ a pencil
he was walking around with a giant blood blister on the tip of his nose... looked like roudolph

| Mine has nipped me, but I dont let it happen now that he is getting older. Snappers can really do some damage, he is lucky he still has the end of his nose! I think they see fingers and such as food, not necessarily trying to hurt. However, if scared they will try to bite. Mine when it hasnt been handled in a while gets spooked and tries to bite until he calms down. That is how they protect themselves. |

when mines tries to bite me it snapps really loud... scary!
