Hi, I\'m new to the forum. I have two res, one male, one female, in a 100 gallon tank. The female\'s shell is about 7 inches long, while the male\'s is 5 inches.

I\'m wondering if my female might be pregnant, because she\'s been trying to get out of the tank (and succeeded the first time). However, I\'ve read that a pregnant turtle will bask more and eat less, but my female has been basking and eating the same amount as usual. It\'s sudden behavior, and I\'m planning to take her to the vet, but I wanted to know the opinions of people who are more experienced with breeding.

Thanks Smile
