I have had red eared sliders for the last 12 years and have bred them successfully several times. This year my female started doing the scratching sniffing digging thing so i put her in a tank with potting soil and she dug for a while but didnt like it. The next day i put her in it again and she would not dig at all and its been two or three days now and she does not seem interested in laying now. Does anyone have any suggestions?
