Hello - I\'m in the same situation you are in, except my eggs were definitely NOT planned! I keep two RES outside in a larger-than-typical area, and they laid eggs. I haven\'t done anything, but have read that eggs usually hatch in 60 to 75 days, which is usually in September, and if it is later/colder, the hatchlings will stay underground until spring. I was kinda looking for more info when I stumbled on this site. I\'m hoping someone else responds you your query so we can both learn more! Wink Good Luck!

OHHH new babies are always fun. If you want to keep them inside i suggest you dig them up carefully and get a moist container lined iwht papertowels and then get a heater and put it under it. But MAKE SURE NOT TO TURN OVER THE EGGS, AS THIS WILL KILL THEM. Care is easy when they hatch their just like normal turtles makesure you have at least a 45 gallon to put them all in.
