All Turtles Message Board

This is a great place for anyone who owns or loves turtles to visit, learn and share. Posters often have legitimate questions or even stories to share. As a group we need to realize that not all of us share the same views. An opinion is just that, an opinion. If you have a different opinion that is great, please share it, but in a kind way. After all that is what we are here for. As the saying goes two heads are better than one well here we have many heads and all of us have great ideas to share. Just be courteous, please.

Lately we seem to have some problems cropping up that I would like to address.
First of all the old posts are there for us to reference and learn from. Often if you have a problem or question you can post and you can also search for similar posts in the past. You can do this by using the search feature at the top of the page. However when you respond to those old posts it pushes the current posters questions down and often makes it difficult for members to answer the new questions or even comment on a setup, or a new pet, etc. Besides it does no good to reply to a question that is old, as the subject has no bearing anymore.
Secondly, double posts. If you find that you have double posted a question please go and delete one of them. This will keep the board clean and easy to use. It is also difficult for you to check for replies when you have multiple posts of the same question.

I have to agree with you there...
I\'ve been really busy lately and everytime I have come on here, there was just ...disaster..on this site and I haven\'t even bothered reading anything anymore....
Don\'t really have the time to sort through everyone\'s posts.
Hope everything clears up cuz I really like this site!!

Being really new I appreciate your courtesy in providing this service too those of us really new to the board. Had I known about some of these earlier questions I might not haver had to ask the one I asked. thanks for your forward thinking and making this a learning experience for the rookies.

How do you delete a post you put on?

IF you have a double post it is easy. Just go to the edit delete button at the bottom right of your post. If someone has responded to both posts, all you can do is ask either l8or g8or, myself or Taryn to remove the second.

iwent in and cleaned up my old stuff, I deleted old msgs that I started,i went into the msg highlighted the original msg hit delete and it took the entire post off. Just wanted you to know I cleaned up mine.

Another reminder bump.

PLEASE, do not respond to the older posts. If someone was trying to find out what type of turtle they had 2 or 3 years ago it is a done deal. Same goes for all the boards. Lets keep these boards clean and easy for all to use.
