I have a Slider his name is \"Buddy\" I bought him for my fiance at a flea market we have had him for almost 4 months now... and he has grown quite big he is about 4 inches in length and loves to eat... well if there is anything i should know about sliders please let me know.... Thanks

You seem like your on a good track judging by the size of your turtle:) If i were you i would just check this site for information on RES turtles it is very informative and tells you almost everything you need to know in order to provide your turtle with a long,happy life. At the top of the page there are five green buttons turtle newbie, care sheets, setup/supplies, and turtle species.
