| We found a small turtle in the lake behind my parents house in Cincinnati Ohio. It was in the fall, and we\'ve had it in an aquarium where it mostly swims. Many times it looks like it is dead, almost frozen with its head, tail and feet out of it\'s shell. Someone told us it was a snapping turtle. It doesn\'t eat anything purchased in the pet store. Only crickets, and bugs. We are not sure we are taking good care of it. Is there someway to attach a picture? It is about 3 inches long with a flat shell that is raised to a point in the center. No descript coloring, a long spiny tail, claws on his feet and is rarely in his shell. Thanks for any help. |

| IT DOESN\'T EAT ANYTHING YOU BUY BECUASE IT HAS NEVER EATTEN ANYTHING LIKE STORE FOOD BEFORE. IT IT A WILD TURTLE. WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? YOU NEED TO TAKE IT TO A PET STORE AND GET INFO ABOUT THE TURTLE. IF IT HAS A NECK THAT LOOKS LIKE A PIPE, AND A SOFT, TAN LIKE SHELL IT MIGHT BE A SOFT SHELL SNAPPING TURTLE. THEIR BITES HURT. |
